CGM ChTD delivered motivating speech to the gathering. Circle Secretary attended and delivered inspirational speech. CS was awarded Performance certificate for Broadband performance. As per the request of CS TXM and NIB and Broadband I&M was included in the award list. CS appreciated the initiative of CGM and requested that TP also should be included for award. CS in his speech indicated that EB and GSM performance are improving due to efforts of CFA. EB wing issue orders but CFA is only executing it and GSM SIM cards are sold by CFA wing only. Hence CFA is also doing very important job.

As far as our Association is concerned, we don’t give importance to strike. During Thane cyclone in Chennai in Dec’ 2015 and during Vardha cyclone in 12th Dec 16, our Officers have struggled hard to restore the service. Due to this BSNL was able to render service to esteemed customers during the adverse conditions also, whereas many private operators are yet to recover to normalcy.

Circle Secretary requested all the recognized service unions to render support for further improvement of BSNL service in Chennai Telephones.

13.01.17: Issues discussed in HRD Branch Meeting regarding development in Central Area:

Haddows Road Branch Emergency Meeting was held on 12.01.17 at HRD during Lunch hour. Meeting was well organized by BS HRD. All the members of HRD Branch attended the meeting. SDEs expressed their displeasure and were restless about the negative attitude of DGM and GM Central.

Local transfer Order was issued to One SDE during her medical leave against her existing transfer application pending with HR & Admn. DGM Central is already aware of this medical case. Executives  are transferred without their knowledge and victimizing them and also spoiling working atmosphere.Already two SDEs have applied for transfer due this unwanted pressure only in Haddows Road.

Our CS has taken up the HR issues related to Central Area with the ChTD Administration. The vindictive attitude of DGM-Central, especially against our Female colleagues is strongly condemned. If it happens in Central Area today, it may spread to all other Areas tomorrow and we need to nib it in the bud. Let us all be united to ensure that there is no bias in the functioning of the system as such.

Association was also not consulted regarding the transfers. Our Association strongly condemn this kind of adamant attitude of GM Central and protest letter was given to GM (HR) for maintaining the Human relations in ChTD impartially. Letter to GM HR, Click and Read
