28-11-17 Congratulations! Case on additional increment by fixation in same scale on post based promotion under EPP:

AIBSNLEA got stay orders in the Principal CAT New Delhi today for the DoT order dated 5.7.2017 for withdrawal of additional increment by fixation in same scale on post based promotion under EPP. The case filed by AIBSNLEA vide OA/100/2649/2017 in Hon’ble Principal Bench CAT New Delhi against the DOT order dated 05.07.2017 came up for hearing today in the Principal Bench of Hon’ble CAT (Court No. 5 Item No. 37). In today’s hearing DoT advocated asked a copy of the reply submitted by the advocate of BSNL in the Hon’ble court and requested for some time to study it. On it, our advocate argued. However, Hon’ble PB CAT posted the matter for further hearing on 11.12.2017 and till then kept the DoT order dated 05.07.2017 in abeyance.

27-11-2017 Strike Notice for two day strike on 12th and 13th December 2017

All Unions and Associations of BSNL have served a notice for two day strike on 12th and 13th December 2017. 

AIBSNLEA is also a constituent of this forum and requests all of its office bearers to ensure 100% participation in the proposed STRIKE on 12th and 13th December 2017  on the call of all the Unions and Associations of BSNL.

It is indeed a great pleasure to observe that our members presence is more in yesterday’s ” Human Chain” at outside of Anna Road Exchange that shows the involvement of AIBSNLEA in resolving the 3RD PRC.
Hats off to one and all. We will follow CHQ guidelines in the future course of action and ensure that Victory is ours.

22-11-2017 Human Chain on 23-11-2017

Comrades as per the call given by all Associations & Association (CHQ)HUMAN CHAIN program to be held on 23.11.2017 demanding implementation of 3rd PRC with 15% fitment and pending issues related to 2nd PRC & to protest against BSNL’s Tower subsidiary.
 It is decided to conduct HUMAN CHAIN at infront of ARD exchange at 15 to 16 hrs. COBs, BOBs and DSs of Assns and Unions are requested to mobilise all the members for 100% participation to make it grand success to show our unity for achieving our demands.

21-11-2017: Just away from office tense on 18/11/17…

My beloved comrades,

It is indeed a grand evening for one and all of our members, who spent a relaxed moments through a humorous family Drama by “Katthadi Ramamurthy ”at the TAG-MFAC,Mylapore-Chennai 600 004.

Though it was portrayed as a comedy show, at the end, it did convey a really important message also on the need of reviving the joint family concept in this mechanical world.

Two months back, while we planned to have a fund raiser event in connection with the ensuing circle conference, the committee constituted for that purpose was not confident of a favorable response from our comrades. But contradictory to that you have all came forward and ensured that the function turns out to be a great success.

 I am extremely indebted to one and all for reposing faith in any good initiative by the Association. It was really a stress-free evening away from routine for all of us, and the program during the intermission by a Tour operator was also received well by those present. Hope all of you will also appreciate this view.

The whole hearted and voluntary involvement and participation by you all have proved a point that an Association is not only for official issues like wage revision, transfer, posting, etc., but something more than that.

On behalf of the circle body and on my personal behalf, I congratulate the organizing committee for smooth conduct of the event and express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of our comrade for making it a memorable evening.
