13-02-2018 Annual General Body meeting of HRD & Kushkumar Road branches
A well organised combined Annual General Body meeting of HRD & Kushkumar Road branches was held at Kushkumar Road Canteen at 17.00Hrs of 12th February 2018. The meeting was attended by most of our members in the two branches apart from our Beloved OS-S-CHQ Com.P.UdayaSuriyan. As usual, the Circle Office Bearers Team was represented by most of its members including CWC Member Com.B.Ganesan DGM-NE.
After introductory remarks by the president, all the COBs addressed the gathering. There was interaction session in which, the members expressed their grievances on certain issues and vent their anger on inordinate delays in issuing posting & transfer orders of genuine nature. Our CS in his response narrated the positive developments after the new body took over and insisted on the need to be united to achieve desired results. CS reiterated that right from day one as far as AIBSNLEA is concerned BSNL is more important than anything else.
Our OS-S-CHQ Com.P.Udayasuriyan who gave the special address highlighted the important role played by HRD & Kushkumar Road Branches all through these years and stressed that the same spirit and enthusiasm should continue forever. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from Com.P.Venkatesh, DE-NIB, the new Branch President of HRD.

09-02-2018 AGB of AIBSNLEA-Anna Nagar Branch
The AGB of AIBSNLEA-Anna Nagar Branch was conducted at 17.00 Hrs on 08-02-2018, in the Anna Nagar Telephone Exchange complex. The meeting was attended by our, CP, CS, FS, V.P Com.V.Ulaga Nathan, ACS Com. K.Rajnarayanan, ACS Com. P.Ramalingam, ACS Com. S.Jaikumar, OS-North Com. P.Vijayasarathy AS-West Com. P.Jagannathan & AS-North Com. B.M.Pandian.
Com.P. Udayasuriyan our OS-S-CHQ was the special invitee and the meeting was well organised by the Branch Office Bearers.
Almost all the Circle Office bearers spoke on the occasion highlighting the need for united action in order to achieve 3RD PRC at the same time ensuring continued better service to our customers.
CS in his speech appreciated the efforts of ANR Branch Team in maintaining unity despite odds and also in ensuring Returning of our Executives back in to our Team. The role played by members of AIBSNLEA in the ongoing agitation especially during the two days strike and five days Satyagraha was very much appreciated by one and all as per feedback received. Our CS also highlighted the interactions with the management during the past two months and assured the members that as a Team AIBSNLEA-Chennai will reach greater heights.
Our OS-South – CHQ in his special address explained the developments post SatyaGraha and informed that only AIBSNLEA is suggesting certain reasonable points to resolve the impasse but unfortunately it is not finding takers.
As part of the proceedings, election of new office bearers was held and the following are the constituent of new body.

02-02-2018 AGB Meeting of Ambattur Branch
The AGB of AIBSNLEA-AMB Branch was conducted at 17.00 Hrs on 1-02-2018,in the Ambattur Telephone Exchange complex. The meeting was attended by our, CS, FS, V.P Com.Mahesh, ACS Com.Rajnarayanan, ACS Com.P.Ramalingam, and OS-North Com.P.Vijayasarathy.
Com.P.Udayasuriyan our OS-S-CHQ was the special invitee and the whole meeting was nicely arranged by the outgoing Secretary Com.P.Ramalingam.
After self introduction, there was an interactive session wherein our members submitted their views on shortage of materials like Drop Wire,5 pair & 10 pair cables, shortage of staff, lack of working PCs & Printers, and unequal distribution of works amongst Executives apart from acute shortage of Vehicle that hamper developmental activities. CS assured that the points were already taken up with the PGM-North and it will be pursued for early settlement. The active involvement of our members during the ongoing Satyagraha in their respective Area was well appreciated.
Our OS-South – CHQ in his special address elaborated the initiative of AIBSNLEA towards achieving 3rd PRC and advised the members to remain united till the final goal is attained.
As a mark of respect to Com.Sri.D.Hariharan JTO-Retired and an active member of our Association earlier, who expired on 01-02-2018, all the members stood in silence for two minutes and prayed for the soul to rest in peace.
