1.Our CS Com.J.Badrinarayanan along with most of the Circle Office Bearers , and Branch Office Bearers and the Members of near by Branches participated in the Lunch Hour Demonstration held at Flower Bazaar Telephone Exchange. The meeting was presided over by Com.C.K.M CS-NFTE and the speakers included Com.S.Kanniappan CS-BSNLEU & CS SNEA apart from the Circle Secretaries of various Unions in the AUA. Our members presence was large in the meeting as compared to others. Our CS in his speech stressed the need for united action to achieve the goal and also briefly explained the views of AIBSNLEA-Chennai Telephones with respect to the important points namley, Tower Corporation,3rd PRC,Reduction in Retirement age and VRS Scheme. The AIBSNLEA’s principle of meeting the management with a solution for any demand was also stressed by the CS so that the stalemate on 3rd PRC can come to an end.
2. After the Demonstration,CS along with CP & ACS Com.Rajnarayanan met DGM-FC & CAO-FC. The points submitted to our respected GM-Finance in our introductory meeting was discussed and DGM-FC informed that as per the directions of GM-Finance all the points are under active consideration for its early implementation.
